Privacy policy

The short version: this website collects nothing about you. There is no analytics, no advertising pixel, no cookie, no form and no third-party request. This page explains that in full, as required by Articles 13 and 14 of the GDPR.

1. What we collect through this website

Nothing. Specifically, and to be unambiguous:

• We set no cookies of any kind — not necessary ones, not analytics ones, not advertising ones.
• We use no analytics. There is no Google Analytics, no Matomo, no Plausible, no server-side analytics product.
• We use no advertising pixels and no conversion tags — no Meta pixel, no Google Ads tag, no Microsoft UET tag.
• We do no fingerprinting: no canvas, font, audio or device fingerprinting, and no probabilistic identification of any kind.
• We use no browser storage: no localStorage, no sessionStorage, no IndexedDB, no Cache Storage, no service worker.
• There are no third-party requests. No web fonts, no CDN, no remote images, no embedded video, no social widgets, no tag manager. Every file this site loads comes from miravain.online itself.
• There is no contact form, no newsletter sign-up, no comment section and no login. A form would collect data, so we did not build one. See the contact page.

Because we collect no personal data through the site, most of the machinery of a normal privacy policy — legal bases, retention schedules, consent records — simply does not apply to your visit.

2. Web server logs

One thing does happen automatically, and it would be dishonest not to mention it. Like essentially every web server on the internet, the server that delivers this site records technical request data in its log files: the IP address that made the request, the date and time, the page requested, the HTTP status returned, the referring page if the browser sent one, and the browser's user-agent string.

3. If you email us

If you write to info@miravain.online, we necessarily receive your email address, your message and anything you choose to put in it. We use it only to answer you.

• Legal basis: Article 6(1)(b) or 6(1)(f) GDPR — responding to an enquiry you initiated.
• Retention: kept only as long as needed to deal with the matter and to meet any legal retention obligation, then deleted.
• Recipients: nobody, unless we are legally required to disclose it.
• Please note: ordinary email is not an encrypted channel. Do not send us sensitive personal information.

4. Partner links to other websites

This site carries partner links, clearly marked wherever they appear. Clicking one takes you to a third party's website. We do not track that click, do not set an identifier on your device and do not receive your personal data back from the advertiser.

What we do pass on, and only when it is present in the address you arrived on, is the campaign parameters attached to that address (for example utm_source, gclid, msclkid). These describe the advertising campaign, not you, and are appended to the outbound address so the advertiser can attribute the visit. Nothing is stored on your device in the process.

Once you are on the third party's site, their privacy policy governs, not ours, and they may well set cookies and track you. We have no control over and no visibility into that. We send the browser a strict-origin-when-cross-origin referrer policy, which means the third party sees that you came from https://miravain.online but not which page you were reading.

5. Your rights under the GDPR

You have the right of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20), and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). Where processing is ever based on consent, you have the right to withdraw it at any time.

In practice, since we hold no data about visitors to this site, a request will usually be answered by confirming that we hold nothing about you — unless you have emailed us, in which case we hold that correspondence. To exercise any right, write to info@miravain.online. We answer within one month.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Ours is:

6. Transfers outside the EU and automated decisions

We transfer no personal data outside the European Economic Area, because we collect none to transfer. We carry out no automated decision-making and no profiling within the meaning of Article 22 GDPR.

7. Children

This site is written for adults and for parents. It is not directed at children, and we knowingly collect no data from anyone — including children.

8. Changes to this policy

If we ever change how the site works in a way that affects this policy, we will update this page and change the date below before the change takes effect. We will not begin collecting data and tell you afterwards.
